robots of new york city

so, i understand trends. i can't say i don't ever fall into the "trendy" trap...but its interesting how i will buy something at the thrift store and see it in urban outfitters two years later. this happens to me A LOT, and then makes me want to put the item to rest for a while.

when there is so much individual beauty in the world, why do we choose to look like clones? i work in the garment district and this is what i have to see every single day....



now ladies, do you all have to wear the exact same dress, shoes, purse and have the SAMe haircut?? in the fashion capital of the world.. its hard watching folks walking down the street.




oh and ps.

urban outfitters, this dress can not seriously be priced at $78. in mexico, its like $15.
